You're advising on dynamics you can't fully see.

Investor stewardship is more active, more visible and more important than ever, but the underlying signals are fragmented and hard to access. You're working from static disclosures, partial reporting and isolated examples while the real activity sits beneath the surface. Impactive Intelligence brings it into view, structured and comparable across companies, investors and themes.

From fragmented inputs to real insight.

The shift isn't more reading. It's a different starting point. We structure every disclosed engagement, classify it on one taxonomy built by practitioners, and connect it so you can compare investors, sectors and themes in minutes, not weeks.

Questions consultants ask first.

What is Impactive Intelligence?+

A searchable database of publicly disclosed investor engagements, votes and collaborative initiative activity, covering 15,586 engagements by 315 investors across more than 7,800 companies. The data already exists, in stewardship reports, voting disclosures and AGM filings, but it sits across thousands of unstructured PDFs and portals. We index, structure and link it, so finding the evidence is a search rather than a research project.

How is this different from ESG ratings or proxy advisor research?+

Ratings give you a score and proxy advisors give you a recommendation. Neither shows what investors actually engaged on, what positions they took in dialogue, or how those positions became votes. Impactive captures that engagement record itself, structured so you can compare, benchmark and trace. It is a useful input to ratings work, not a substitute for it.

Where does the data come from?+

All of it comes from public reporting: stewardship reports, significant vote disclosures, AGM filings, regulatory submissions and public statements by investors and companies. Engagements are indexed with a domain-trained AI model and reviewed for accuracy before publication. Every record links back to its source, so the evidence trail is intact for any claim you take into a client deck or committee paper.

Can outputs be used in client work?+

Yes, that is what it is designed for. CSV and PDF exports are made for client decks, manager review packs, committee papers, board briefings and quarterly updates. Every claim traces to its public source, which matters when a trustee, audit committee or chair asks where a number came from. White-label exports and team workspaces are available on team and enterprise plans.

Does it cover non-UK investors and companies?+

Yes. Coverage spans companies and investors across the UK, Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and emerging markets, weighted toward investors who publish meaningful stewardship disclosure. It is densest in markets with strong public stewardship reporting expectations, and continues to expand.

How is Impactive Intelligence different from Impactive Engagement Tracker?+

They do different jobs. Impactive Engagement Tracker is the platform asset managers and owners use to run their own engagement programme, and its data is private to the firm. Intelligence is a research database of publicly reported engagement activity across the whole market. The two are complementary, and many firms use both.

Is there a free option, and how do team plans work?+

Yes. The free plan gives you limited access to companies, investors, themes and initiatives. For now we set up every account ourselves, so explore the database and we'll be in touch with your access. Paid plans add the investor lens, voting records, advanced filters, watchlists and export. Team plans add shared workspaces, watchlists and saved views for consultancies running parallel client engagements; enterprise plans add SSO, white-label exports and direct support.

How do we see it in action?+

Explore the database, or book a 30-minute walk-through and we will show you the workflows that fit your advisory practice, using companies, investors and themes from your own client list.
